The nature lovers tour is an environmental interpretation tour where we visit the ecosystems (estuaries, mangroves, freshwater springs, wetlands, petenes and coastal dunes found on the coasts of the Gulf of Mexico).
To make the boat ride through 40km of canals surrounded by mangroves, where you can also observe other species of birds such as: Herons, eagles, gulls and cormorants, with luck we can observe the 2 species of crocodiles that inhabit here, species of mammals and also visit the feeding area of the flamingos where we will approach without disturbing them to take the time to observe this mafestuosa bird and much of their characteristic behaviors of which make it one of the many emblematic species that we have in this Natural Reserve.
After the nature tour through the mangrove channels is the option to visit part of the coloradas (where the natural process of its characteristic color is given), the Mayan bath and the beach in the Gulf of Mexico (at no extra cost).

To perform this activity we recommend 2 schedules
Departure times Morning (5:00am sunrise), 6:00am, 7:00am, 8:00am, 9:00am.
Afternoon departure times 2:00pm, 2:30 pm, 3:00pm, (3:30pm sunset)
(We can adapt to a schedule that is more convenient for you).
- The tour can start at our meeting point or if you are staying in Rio Lagartos we can go with our boat to the dock of your hotel.
- You can finish at the dock of your hotel or end the experience at the restaurant El Rincon De Rio to take a fresh water shower and enjoy the catch of the day (includes breakfast on the boat, coffee and fruit to share or if you choose to take the tour in the afternoon some local snacks from the Restaurant El Rincon De Rio and drinks in the boat cooler at no extra cost).

This nature tour is for all ages and perfect for people looking for a high-contact experience with nature, combined with environmental interpretation and excellent opportunities to learn about this biosphere reserve of Ria Lagartos.

In support of the ecological reserve, a federal fee of $61 mxn or $4 usd per person is paid for the preservation and care of this magnificent natural area.

-cost for 2 people $2,000 mexican pesos.
-cost for 3-4 persons $2,500 mexican pesos
-Price for 5-6 people $3,000 mexican pesos,
It does not include the entrance fee to the nature reserve of 58 pesos per person, which is destined to the preservation and care of this magnificent natural space.
Reservation is made with 20 % of the total cost of the tour and the rest is paid at the beginning or end of the tour.
